CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION: Childbirth education classes at St. John's Mercy Hospital Medical Building, 851 E. Fifth St. in Washington, Mo., cover many topics to help prepare expectant parents for all aspects of childbirth. For more information or to register, call 636-239-8004.

Lamaze Refresher - 6:30-9:30 p.m. May 22 in Classroom A. Cost is $45.Lamaze Weekend Accelerated - 8 a.m.-noon June 14 and 22 in Classroom A. Cost is $90.

MASSAGE FOR COUPLES: The St. John's Mercy Hospital Wellness Program will offer a Massage for Couples class from 7-8:30 p.m. May 12 in the community room of St. John's Mercy Sports & Therapy, 1713 Heritage Hills Center in Washington. Participants will learn massage techniques to relax the neck, shoulders and back. Bring two pillows to class. The cost is $25 per couple and the class size is limited. MARCH FOR BABIES: The March of Dimes' March for Babies will be at 8 a.m. April 26 at Lions Lake in Washington, Mo. The event will include an awareness walk and a 5K fun run. Registration begins at 7 p.m. New and past participants and teams are invited to participate in the event. Registration forms are available at the YMCA. RELAY FOR LIFE BENEFIT: A Wii tournament will begin at 11 a.m. April 26 at American Bank, 690 W. Service Road N. in Wright City, to benefit Relay for Life. Tournament is for all ages. Early entry fee is $8, $10 at the door; $2 for spectators. Register early at American Bank or Curves in Wright City.

Support groups

NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS: Meets every Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Friedens United Church of Christ, 313 E. Main St., Warrenton. Open meeting.

ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS: Women's open meeting at 9 a.m. every Saturday at the University of Missouri Extension Center, 107 W. Walton St., Warrenton.

AL-ANON: Al-Anon offers hope and help to families and friends of alcoholics. Meetings are from 7-9 p.m. every Sunday in Classroom A, on the first floor of the St. John's Mercy Medical Building, 851 E. Fifth St., Washington, Mo.

NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS: Meets every Monday at 7 p.m. at Church of the Nazarene, 521 N. Service Road, Wright City. Open meeting.

STROKE RECOVERY GROUP: Joins stroke survivors, family and friends for support and education through discussion, programs and speakers. Meets at 3:30 p.m. the second Monday of every month in Classroom A, on the first floor of the St. John's Mercy Medical Building, 851 E. Fifth St., Washington, Mo.

CROHN'S AND COLITIS SUPPORT GROUP: The St. John's Mercy Hospital Crohn's and Colitis Support Group offers support and education on issues specific to Crohn's disease, colitis and ostomies. Families and friends are welcome to attend. Meetings are from 7-8 p.m. the second Monday of every other month in Classroom A, on the first floor of the Mercy Medical Building, 851 E. Fifth St., Washington, Mo. The next meeting will be in June.

ALZHEIMER'S SUPPORT GROUP: The St. John's Mercy Hospital Alzheimer's Association Support Group joins caregivers and family members taking care of a loved one who has Alzheimer's. The group's primary goal is to provide a time to share feelings and offer encouragement in a safe environment. The group also will offer in formation through discussion, programs and professional speakers. Meetings are from 1-3:30 p.m. the third Monday of every month in Classroom A, on the first floor of the Mercy Medical Building, 851 E. Fifth St., Washington, Mo.

ALZHEIMER'S SUPPORT GROUP: Lincoln County Medical Center, 1000 E. Cherry St. in Troy, hosts a support group for those affected by Alzheimer's disease. Group meets at 6 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of every month. For more information call 636-528-3300.

CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE SUPPORT GROUP: Discusses topics related to congestive heart failure, including nutrition, exercise and other lifestyle issues.
