BLOOD DRIVE: St. Francis Borgia Parish will host a St. John's Mercy Hospital community blood drive from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. April 13 at the St. Francis Borgia School Cafeteria, Second and Cedar streets in Washington, Mo. Walk-ins are welcome. Donors will receive a T-shirt. BLOOD DRIVE: St. Vincent DePaul Church, located on South Highway 94 in Dutzow, will sponsor an American Red Cross Blood Drive from 2-7 p.m. April 14. All donors must present identification prior to donating. Sandwiches and cookies will be served. HEARTSAVER CPR: The St. John's Mercy Hospital Heartsaver CPR class teaches adult/infant/child CPR skills and management of an obstructed airway. Expo HOLISTIC HEALTH EXPO: 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. April 12 in the Training Center at East Central College, 1964 Prairie Dell Road in Union. Experts will be available to answer questions regarding diet and nutrition, exercise and fitness, mind/body techniques for stress reduction, and options for the treatment of illness and disease prevention. SCREENING STROKE AND OSTEOPEROSIS SCREENING: Appointments begin at 9 a.m. April 17 at Knights of Columbus Hall, 700 South St. in Warrenton. Screenings are non-invasive and easy to obtain. CROHN'S AND COLITIS SUPPORT GROUP: The St. John's Mercy Hospital Crohn's and Colitis Support Group offers support and education on issues specific to Crohn's disease, colitis and ostomies. Families and friends are welcome to attend. Meetings are from 7-8 p.m. the second Monday of every other month in Classroom A, on the first floor of the Mercy Medical Building, 851 E. ALZHEIMER'S SUPPORT GROUP: The St. John's Mercy Hospital Alzheimer's Association Support Group joins caregivers and family members taking care of a loved one who has Alzheimer's. The group's primary goal is to provide a time to share feelings and offer encouragement in a safe environment. The group also will offer in formation through discussion, programs and professional speakers. Meetings are from 1-3:30 p.m. the third Monday of every month in Classroom A, on the first floor of the Mercy Medical Building, 851 E. Fifth St., Washington, Mo. ALZHEIMER'S SUPPORT GROUP: Lincoln County Medical Center, 1000 E. Cherry St. in Troy, hosts a support group for those affected by Alzheimer's disease. CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE SUPPORT GROUP: Discusses topics related to congestive heart failure, including nutrition, exercise and other lifestyle issues.
